Our Mission
The Global Kung Fu Alliance, under the leadership of Sifu Kendra Mahon of Kung Fu Kendra, a 3rd generation master in the Ip Man Lineage, is dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and advancement of traditional Wing Chun Kung Fu. As a pivotal organization in the Wing Chun community, the Alliance unites practitioners, instructors, and enthusiasts from around the world through education, collaboration, and community building.
Kung Fu Kendra has spent years teaching, filming, and refining a curriculum that translates centuries of close-quarters combat theory into clear, structured lessons anyone can follow — whether training in a school, a garage, or a living room. The Alliance exists to carry that same standard of teaching to a global audience, so that no student is limited by their zip code or their local access to a qualified instructor.
Founded to make authentic Wing Chun accessible globally, the Alliance has created the world's first and only complete online Wing Chun Online Certification Course, enabling students to learn remotely under Sifu Kendra's guidance. This innovative platform serves students regardless of geographic location, breaking down traditional barriers to martial arts education while maintaining the authenticity of the Ip Man lineage through William Cheung.
Every rank in the certification path — from first-form beginner through certified Sifu — is built around the same principles taught in Kung Fu Kendra's in-person classes: correct structure, sensitivity training, and practical application, not just memorized movement.
